1. About these Terms

These Terms govern your use of the Ankor website at ankor.us and any subdomains (collectively, the "Site"). By accessing the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms apply to the Site only. Any consulting, engineering, or other services we provide are governed by a separate written agreement between Ankor and the client.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the Site except as permitted by our robots.txt.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code beyond what is publicly shipped.
  • Use the Site to transmit malware, spam, or unlawful content.
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its infrastructure.
  • Use the contact form or chat for illegal or harassing purposes.

3. Intellectual property

All text, graphics, logos, illustrations, photographs, code, and other materials on the Site are © Ankor or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other laws. "Ankor" and the Ankor logo are trademarks of Ankor. Nothing on the Site grants you, by implication or otherwise, any licence or right to use any Ankor trademark without prior written permission.

You may share links to public pages on the Site and quote short excerpts with attribution. All other use requires prior written consent.

4. Content linked from the site

Blog posts, case studies, and other editorial content on the Site are informational only. They reflect our views at the time of writing and are not professional, legal, tax, or investment advice. Outcome metrics we cite (for example, "3x retention" or "800K+ daily users served") describe specific past projects and are indicative, not guarantees of future results.

Where the Site links to third-party sites or tools, we do so for convenience. We do not endorse and are not responsible for third-party content.

5. Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANKOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.

We do not warrant that the Site will be error-free or that defects will be corrected. Your use of the Site is at your own risk.

6. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANKOR AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US $100) OR THE EQUIVALENT IN INDIAN RUPEES. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Ankor harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

8. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Optional: the parties may agree to resolve disputes through arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Chennai, India, in English, before a sole arbitrator.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
